Course Objective

Objective of this course is to explain and understand what the effects of quantum physics in everyday life. By this course, it is aimed at removing disinformation focused on the concept of quantum and informing students about the applications of the concept of quantum.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Understanding and expressing of basic concepts of quantum physics
2   Gaining of the ability of appraising quantum physical gedanken (thought) experiments based on scientific principles
3   Acquiring of the ability of criticizing misunderstandings at popular science
4   Being aware about basic principles and approaches of modern physics
5   Associating experimental developments with theoretical advancements in modern physics
6   Gaining information about the effects of quantum physics in everyday life at elementary level
