Course Objective

To enable the students to learn and assess the theoretical approaches on economic globalization and global economic process in the context of philosophical, multidimensional and interdisciplinary aspects of globalization.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to learn and evaluate the definition of the concept of globalization and its difference from the similar process.
2   To be able to learn and explain the history of globalization.
3   To be able to learn and explain the principles and methods of global capitalism.
4   To be able to learn and evaluate the global trade system and WTO.
5   To be able to learn and evaluate the role of International Monetary Fund and World Bank in global economy.
6   To be able to evaluate the role of transnational corporations in global economy.
