Course Objective

Constituted student s control over his/her instrument that able to perform in national and international orchestras, chamber music groups and make his/her able to be able to solo performances. Providing critical perspective with using music sub-diciplines on his/her and others works and internalize the concepts of self-development and lifelong learning.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Student can develop his/her double bass playing techniques and musicality.
2   Student can create individual unique exercises in order to solve studied pieces challenges.
3   Student can use appropriate techniques to interpret double bass music written in different musical forms in his/her appropriate class level.
4   Student can take responsibility for projects related to vocalization of the works which he/she interpreted and organize events.
5   Student can apply new and different playing techniques which emerged in new works written for double bass

Main Source: From the Renaissance to the present day written pieces for the instrument in every musical forms either solo or (with) accompaniment, appropriate class level.
Supporting resources: Written, visual and auditory sources about composers, musical forms and playing styles which studied in the period. Also this pieces records creating by diffrent performers.
