Course Objective

To teach students about the writers of Russian literature of the second half of the 19th century and their literary works.

3   3. Understand basic concepts and terms of the literature of the second half of the 19th century

2 2. Ivan Alexandrovich Goncharov. Biography and literary works. Analysis of the literary work Oblomov . 12. Lev Nikolayevich Tolstoy. Biography and literary works. Analysis of the novel "War and Peace".
3 3. Aleksandr Ivanovich Herzen. Biography and literary works. Analysis of the literary work Who Is to Blame. 13. Lev Nikolayevich Tolstoy. Analysis of the novel "Anna Karenina" .
