Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide students at the thesis stage with the ability to scan, evaluate and discuss the literature on the subject they will study with the guidance of their advisor. In addition, it is to enable students to produce a scientific study by becoming competent in the process of applying and modifying the current techniques that they will benefit from in the thesis study alone, in accordance with the principles of scientific ethics, clinical and laboratory work, and in the interpretation of the findings.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to follow and interpret the literature related to the thesis study and to form hypotheses with the related subject.
2   To have information about the project resources (institutional and national) and project application processes to be used for the thesis work, to be able to write the project according to the suggested format.
3   To be able to apply and develop the techniques that will be used in the thesis study.
4   To be able to observe scientific and ethical values in the stages of collecting, evaluating and publishing the data related to the thesis subject.
5   To be able to present the thesis work and current developments in the scientific language in written and oral form in an appropriate presentation plan.
6   To be able to exhibit the characteristics of an independent researcher in their own field in scientific environments and to adapt to international research environments and to share research results in these environments.
