Course Objective

To provide students with knowledge about the general structure, parts, systems, flight theory and aircraft types of aircraft.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Student will be able to explain flight theory and flying principles (aerostatics, aerodynamics)
2   Student will be able to ıdentifies working principles of flight elements and factors
3   Student will be able to learns major aircraft components
4   Student will be able to classify different aircraft types
5   Student will be able to classify passenger aircrafts
6   Students will be able to learns cabin configuration, doors, galleys, lavatories and cabin equipment.

Assessment Criteria

Exams: There will be held on two in class exams; midterm exam and final exam during the semester.
Grades: 50 % Midterm Exam, 50 % Final Exam, 50 % Make-up Exam.
