Course Objective


This course aims to teach the student how to build up the process of creating a role through acting method of Stanislavski. By this way the tirades of the contemporary playwrights.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students who succesfully complete this course should be able to:gain the theory required while creating a play character.
2   learn the required feeling-voice-movement practices for the role through Stanislavski method
3   search the rehersaled play s era, writer and style and merge these with the theory
4   analyze plays and characters and match them with the action on the stage.
5   participate for critic and evaluation in the classroom.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

1- Courses
The lecturer introduce the fundemental structre of acting. It is important to exist a character physically and emotionally by using a play. At this point it is prefered to use the determiners of the text.
2- Practices
The theory and practices are transformed into a personal work by the student. These works should be tirades. The causality of the music, light, setting and costumes required for the work should be explained.
3- Class Discussion
The projects made by students are discussed and critisized in the class. The criteria is that the work is right and effective . Student observes the effect on the audience. That helps to increase the quality and the creativity of the latter productions

2- Student can t enter the class after the lesson starts.
3- It is an obligation to read the play for participation.
4- Improper behaviours are the cause of being put out of the class.
5- Being absent in presentation day is equal not doing the presentation.
