Course Objective

To teach the importance of good oral health and its acceptance as indispensable for performance as recreational sports become more popular and the demands for professional athletes increase, and the injuries that may occur during sports competitions and the treatments of these injuries.

1   Defines sports injuries and their treatments.
2   Have sufficient knowledge to perform dental scans of athletes.
3   Defines paralympic sports dentistry
4   Lists the basic information about orofacial injuries.
5   Lists the methods of protection from sports injuries.
