Course Objective

To define basic concepts such as health tourism, spa and wellness tourism, thermal baths in the world and to teach by explaining real life examples.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Defines the applications of health tourism, thermal tourism, medical tourism, wellness tourism in the world.
2   Knows the design of a health tourism (wellness) center, the services offered, its employees and their duties.
3   Knows the developing health tourism countries and destinations.
4   Knows the types of surgery and treatment, visits and other services offered to a health tourism customer.
5   Knows the needs of a health tourist and provides appropriate services.

4. The student should be able to give information about the types of surgery and treatment, visits and other services offered to a health tourism client.
5. The student should be able to identify appropriate services knowing the needs of a health tourist.
