Course Objective

To provide information about the diagnosis of orthodontic anomalies, preventive and preventive orthodontic treatments, functional and fixed orthodontic treatments.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Can diagnose malocclusion using orthodontic diagnostic tools.
2   Can design removable appliances that can be used in the treatment of simple orthodontic problems.
3   Should have sufficient theoretical knowledge about preventive and preventive orthodontic treatment.
4   Should have sufficient theoretical knowledge about the timing of active orthodontic treatment and post-retention practices.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

The lesson will be presented in class. Lecture notes will be given to students. Students will follow the lesson from their lecture notes and textbooks.
