Course Objective

The aim of this course is health legislation, patient-physician relations, Definition of Health Law, Concepts of Health Law and Medical Law. Historical Development of the Right to Health Legal Relationship Between Physician-Patient Obligations arising from the Treatment Agreement Types of Medical Intervention Medical Ethics Health-Related Institutions and Organizations Basic Regulatory Procedures Related to Health Explaining the Legal and Criminal Responsibility of Health Personnel.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Explain the basic concepts and institutions of health law.
2   Explains the ways of legal protection by listing the rights of patients and physicians.
3   Lists the conditions of legality of medical intervention.
4   Evaluates the legal responsibility arising from medical interventions.
5   Explains the criminal liability of physicians.
