Course Objective

To give a general introduction to endodontics, to give information about the history of endodontics, endodontic access cavities, dental anatomy, endodontic instruments, canal dilation, washing, pulp embryology, histology, physiology, degeneration and pathologies, and to introduce endodontic practice.

1   Takes an endodontic anamnesis.
2   Recognizes Niti instruments in endodontics.
3   Defines the working logic of rotary tools.
4   Defines different torque and rotary tool operating systems.
5   Defines the importance of irrigation.
