Course Objective

To help the auxiliary personnel serving in the sector to increase the quality of the service provided by increasing their level of knowledge in contemporary practices in the sector.

1   Understands the role and importance of dental assistant.
2   Defines the patient records, recording of dental and medical information.
3   Recognizes devices, tools and basic consumables used in dentistry.
4   Knows the ways of preparing and protecting the patient for dental x-rays.
5   Defines sterilization and disinfection in dentistry.
