Course Objective

To comprehend cavity preparation techniques, hand tools used in filling and restorative filling materials as a whole. To know the anatomy of enamel, dentin and pulp, to learn the principles of cavity opening and restoration.

1   Learns the principles of cavity; defines black cavity and current cavity principles, learns hand tools and their use.
2   Defines pulp protector and base materials
3   Defines restorative materials.
4   Learns the making of amalgam and composite filling, polishing and polishing processes.

The student learns the principles of cavity; Define black cavity and current cavity principles, describe hand tools and their uses.
