Course Objective

To raise awareness about the definition and history of endodontics and to adopt the physiology and place of the pulp in dental anatomy, to provide information about endodontic access cavities, dental anatomy, endodontic instruments, root canal expansion, irrigation, pulp embryology, histology, physiology, degeneration and pathologies, and endodontics.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Basicly comprehend the definition and history of endodontics.
2   Have information about the embryology, histology, physiology, degeneration and pathologies of the pulp.
3   Have knowledge about the anatomy of pulp and endodontic access cavities.
4   Comprehends the importance of widening the canals and irrigation in endodontic success.
5   Understands the importance of endodontic instruments and irrigation solutions used in canal expansion.
