Course Objective

Museum outreach programs serving communities offer unique experiences to enhance
learning. This course explores ways in which museums can create partnerships with
schools and communities to develop programs and curricula that highlight the value of
the museum as a learning environment

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Develop thinking skills that will help them to make a museum based currucula
2   Develop communication skills that will assist them and their future students in understanding their world and their roles as learner of museum
3   Learn planning and assessment procedures for effective, integrated, and functional museum plans
