Course Objective

It is aimed to explain the technical and aesthetic pursuits of digital photography and digital image processing programs, their historical and cultural development, their contribution to the development of photographic language, the basic knowledge and functions of the programs used, as well as explaining the basic concepts of digital imaging language and computer, explaining image processing methods in computer environment; It is aimed to transfer efficient workflow methods by enabling the student to establish a relationship between pre-shooting planning and image processing

To investigate the art movements that emerged in the early 20th century as well as to be studied, to examine the relations of photography and to discuss its contribution to the art of photography.

In addition to the theoretical lecture, research and project production processes of the course, in order for the student to follow and apply current developments in the field, the classrooms (and the student himself/herself) must have up-to-date versions of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom Classic, Adobe Bridge programs and computers with sufficient technical specifications.
