Course Objective

Investigating broadcast audio hardware and connections such as microphones and appreciating audio signal flow on TV studios. Recognizing some standards and formats used in broadcast and using audio controls and some parameters of video editing software.

1   To learn signal flow and fundamental concepts on broadcast sound technology
2   To relate to between audio and video based on signal flow
3   To use audio controls of some video editing software
4   To recognize special microphones used on broadcast

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Content of the course is theoretical. It is used a projector for expression. During a special expression of some of the equipment, especially microphone used on broadcast, application studies will be made.

At the end of each lecture topics will be covered in the next lesson and the students are offered as a subject of their studies. The course begins before the first presentation of the studies.
