Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to let students write appropriate texts in necessary conditions by expressing their thoughts and feelings properly; let them improve their written communication skills in the work life; let them understand the importance of written and printed documents in communication and let them gain the ability of writing an official documents.

1   To be able to express thoughts and feelings in writing
2   To be able to write an appropriate text in response to a given subject
3   To learn and improve written communication skills that will help in working life
4   Understanding the importance of written and printed documents
5   Writing an official letter by understanding the rules of formal writing

1 - Meeting - sharing of objectives and content of the subject
2 - Official letters and rules of official letters
3 - Rules of writing petition
4 - Sample petition writing studies
5 - Writing a sponsorship file and sponsorship demand texts.
6 - Writing a letter of application for permission for various activities
7 - Case studies of official letters that will submitted to Ministry of Culture
8 - Writing official letters about the works that will be sent to festivals
9 - Order and request writing activities
10 - Report writing techniques
11 - What official report is and report writing exercises
12 - The rules of resume writing and job interview techniques
