Course Objective

It aims to give information to students about the use of x-ray equipment and the importance of radiological techniques in diagnosis.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students learn about general radiology and its basic principles.
2   Students recognize the x-ray device and learn its working principles.
3   Students learn the precautions to be taken before radiological imaging.
4   Students gain the ability to interpret radiologically according to the parts of the body.
5   Students learn about contrast agents and their side effects.

3 Formation of radiographic image and film defects and their causes
4 Radiographic image evaluation and x-ray protection measures
5 Radiographic evaluation of the head, ear, mouth and temporal region
6 Nasal cavity and cervical region radiography
7 Thorax and cardiovascular system radiography
8 Digestive System Radiography
9 Midterm
10 Paranchymatous organs, genital system and urinary system radiography
11 Radiographic evaluation of the anterior and posterior extremities
12 Radiographic evaluation of the vertebral column
13 Contrast substances
14 Clinically based radiographic interpretation
