Course Objective

The aim of this course is to teach students to diagnose and treat orthopedic problems of animals.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students learn how to diagnose orthopedic problems.
2   Students learn about fractures, fracture healing and fracture treatment methods.
3   Students learn about joint diseases and treatments of animals.
4   Students learn about orthopedic nerve lesions and their treatments.
5   Students learn about muscle, tendon and tendovagina diseases and treatments.
6   Students learn about orthopedic bandages and their applications.
7   Students learn about implants used in osteosynthesis operations.
