Course Objective

Use of pathological laboratory techniques and methods in the diagnosis of tissue samples obtained by necropsy and biopsy

1   Can take appropriate sample after necropsy or biopsy
2   Can preserve and fix the samples
3   Can prepare preparations from processed tissues
4   Can diagnose the disease using staining techniques in pathological preparations
5   Makes and interprets pathological diagnosis of diseases

8 Routine Hematoxylin-Eosin staining method
9 Special histological staining methods
10 Immunohistochemical staining method
11 Microscope types and usage features
12 Examination of stained tissues under a microscope
13 Examination of stained tissues under a microscope

It aims to teach theoretically, practically and demonstratively the basic nature and pathogenesis of diseases in domestic, poultry and exotic animals, and the pathomorphological and functional changes that occur in the tissues, organs and fluids of the body during the disease.
