Course Objective

Characteristics of cells, which are the smallest living unit of living things, general characteristics of prokaryotic and eukaryotic living things, the stages of conversion of genetics into protein molecules in DNA, which is the hereditary material passed down through generations (replication, transcription, translation), and stopping events (cell analysis, mitosis). -meiosis and control), cell death mechanisms, signal transduction mechanisms and cancer biology.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Reachs core knowledge in the subjects of molecular biology
2   Understands the cell structure and function sufficiently
3   Learns basic vital activities occuring inside the cell
4   Learns the changes in cellular molecules in healty cell or in pathological conditions
5   Reachs sufficient knowledge about the qualitative and quantitative methods to measure the changes in cellular molecules
6   Develops a point of scientific view in the lights of these knowledge
7   Gains the ability of cause-effect relationships between events of vitality
