It is aimed to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills of organic-inorganic chemistry as a basis for biochemistry and other courses.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Has general knowledge of chemistry.
2   Understands the basic concepts and principles of chemical substances.
3   Knows the structure of atoms, molecules and ionic substances.
4   Knows the bonding forms and molecular structure of carbon atoms.
5   Categorizes organic and inorganic compounds.
6   Know the functional groups of organic compounds.
7   Learns body fluids and buffer systems.
8   Can use and apply chemistry knowledge in biochemistry.

11 Introduction to Inorganic Chemistry and General Concepts
12 Elements (Calcium, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Sodium, Potassium, Sulfur, Iron)
13 Elements (Copper, Zinc, Manganese, Molybdenum, Elements: Selenium, Fluorine, Iodine)
14 Aqueous solutions and their properties, Solution concentrations, Osmosis and osmotic pressure
