Course Objective

The objective of this course is to learn basic knowledge about histology of organs.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Explain the microscobic and functional features of organs of cardiovascular system, lymphatic system, nervous system, digestive system, respiratory system, urogenital system, endocrin systems, skin and appandages.
2   Explain the histological features of eye and ear.
3   Recognize all tissues and organs of the animal body at the light microscopic level.

3 Nervous system Overview of the nervous system, cerebellum, cerebrum and medulla spinalis histology, blood-brain barrier, meninges
4 Digestive system: Oral cavity and assosiated structures Overview of the digestive system, oral cavity, tongue, teeth and supporting tissues, salivary glands,
5 Digestive system: Esophagus and gastrointestinal tract Esopghagus, stomach, small and large intestine, Avian digestive system
6 Digestive system: Organs associated with the digestive tract Liver, gallbladder, pancreas,
7 Respiratory system Overview of respirator system, nasal cavities, pharynx, larynx, trachea
