Cancer record, importance and history; Basic information recorded during cancer registration; Hospital-based cancer registry systems; Community-based cancer registry systems; ICD-O topographic and morphological coding system; Cancer registry computer software, CANREG; Cancer registry systems worldwide: SEER, IACR, NAACCR; Examples of community and hospital-based cancer registration in Turkey: KIDEM, hospitals Cancer Registration System

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knows the history and history of cancer registration.
2   Can create a cancer registry base, manage a ready system.
3   Can use database programs.
4   Can make statistical analysis from systems, report results.
5   Follow up the current literature about cancer registration process, centers, systems, and evaluate them.
