Course Objective

The course content includes information about behaviors, exposures and other factors that may affect cancer risk. Causes of cancer increase; exposure factors to environmental and professional cancer makers such as age, tobacco and alcohol, chronic pain, diet, obesity, radiation, sunlight are defined. Measuring the frequencies of these factors is an epidemiological examination of the exposure to cancer susceptibility.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knows the factors that affect cancer risk.
2   Can reach cancer increase statistics.
3   Can read and understand environmental and occupational cancer makers in the literature.
4   Know the factors and frequency of cancer-making and make analyzes.
5   Use the epidemiological research methods used to investigate the causes of cancer predisposition.
