General Description
History |
Construction installation technology program started in educational activities in 1993 1994. It is a 2year program consisting of four semesters of 14 weeks. In twoyear period, theoretical lectures, workshops applications and industrybased training are provided. Program is prepared to teach students the basic concepts of installation space and to development of hand skills in industrial applications. |

Qualification Requirements and Regulations |
The student must complete 2 years of study acquiring 120 (ECTS) credits. This degree is awarded to students who have successfully completed all courses in the curriculum, compulsory 40 days of internship and have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.00/4.00 and no failing grades. |
Profile of the Programme |
While, the basic installation information and industrybased theoretical lectures are given in classrooms of vocational school, the application lectures are carried out in workshops of the program. Students in the second year, 8 weeks (40 working dayscompulsory) courses during the application and complete the internship based on their industry. Construction Installation. |

Occupational Profiles of Graduates with Examples |
Graduate students can work in the construction industry, building installation group stages of the project and commitment. Spreading of the natural gas in many parts of the country, such as buildings and using in industrial has made up a very wide business field for installations technicians. In parallel, they can work the central and local heating systems installation, maintenance and repair areas. Also, the department students are trained staff for the renewable energy sector developing in our country. |

According to the "Regulation on the Continuation of Undergraduate Education for Open Education Associate Degree Programs and Vocational Schools Graduates", the Vocational School Graduates, who wish to continue to the Undergraduate Degree, may register to the relevant departments by entering and succeeding the Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS). |
