Course Objective

Course Objective: In this course, it is aimed to enable the student to obtain, change and sustain the knowledge to develop the health; as well as the behaviours of healthy life style for the individual, family and society. This course will focus on the behaviours and methods of health development.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1. The student can explain the concepts regarding the development of health.
2   2. The student can define the life style behaviours that require behavioural change.
3   3. The student can discuss about the constituents of behaviour change programs.
4   4. The student can determine the requirements of the individual, family and society regarding the development of health.
5   5. The student can plan the health development programs according to needs.
6   6. The student can present the examples of health development programs.
7   7. The student can discuss about the roles of the nurse regarding the health development
