DEGREE PROGRAMMES

: Molecular Medicine

General Description

History

The Department of Molecular Medicine was founded in 2009 as a multidisciplinary department under the umbrella of the Graduate School of Health Sciences, with the legal approval from the High Council of Education in Ankara. Faculty members from various departments of basic sciences (Biochemistry, Medical Biology, Pathology, Histology-Embryology, Pharmacology, Basic Oncology) and clinical sciences (Paediatrics and Internal Medicine) take part in this department. MSc training in Molecular Medicine has been started in the academic year 2009-2010. The programme lasts two years including two semesters of courses and two semesters of thesis work. The programme language is Turkish.
