Dersin Amacı

In this course, it's aimed to discuss the interaction of human psychology with the physical and social environment through environmental psychology and urban design disciplines.

Dersin Öğrenme Kazanımları

1	At the end of this course, the students are expected to learn the concepts and principles of environmental psychology,
2	to list the psychological, architectural and geographical variables that effects the perception of the environment.
3	to interpret the methods that analyse human and environment interactions.
4	to analyse the relation between environmental psychology and urban design.
5	to evaluate the effects of existing urban environments on human psychology within the scope of the principles that are learnt in the course.

This course will be given through conference presentations and literature readings. Besides the midterm examinations, students will be required to prepare a research in the semester.
