Dersin Amacı

The aim of the lecture is providing the following knowledge for the studens; i) the components and necessities of a landfill, ii) how to obtain these components and necessities, iii) how to make material selction for the area, iv) information on design of a lanfill area and can technically traw it, v) information on major costs

1   Can list the components of a landfill area and can describe their necessities
2   Can foreseen the landfill volume and can locate its place
3   Can calculate the area of a landfill and the area of its components according to the current and future needs
4   Can compare the material types used in landfills, can investigate in landfills, and can make sence out of the results of this investigation
5   Can plan a landfill area according to the needs and foundemantal information and can design a landfill area
6   Can determine the appropriate landfill technique according to the properties of the area and land, can decide about the technique
