Course Objective |
The objective of this course is to urge students to understand a variety of empirical research papers in interpreting using different techniques, so as to develop awareness of possible solutions to problems that the students may encounter as independent researchers in the future. It covers various approaches, data collection methods and paradigms in interpreting studies and provides a framework in research on interpreting. |

Attendance is obligatory. Students are expected to read assigned material and write weekly response papers. They are also responsible to write a term paper based on findings of a wide scale research. |
