Course Objective |
The objectives of the course are broadly two-fold: first, to gain a solid understanding of the patterns and constraints of gender inequality around the world up to the present day, and second, to review and debate what we know and don t know about what policies and programs can work to close gender gaps, with a focus on developing countries. Recognising the role of tourism and leisure in advancing gender debates within the social sciences, this course has the aim of providing insights into gender equality awareness in the field of tourism and leisure research. |
