Course Objective

Within the scope of the course, environmental components/problems in the context of women, access to natural resources, use and management, gender equality from an environmental perspective, environmental policies, sustainable development, ecofeminism, environmental ethics, strengthening sensitivities, national/international legislation and agreements, and policy in Türkiye. It is aimed to gain knowledge about programs and projects.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to explain basic concepts about women and environment.
2   Effective use of the knowledge gained on women and the environment
3   Being able to comment and evaluate on women and the environment
4   Evaluating data on women and the environment, drawing conclusions from the findings, making predictions for the population from sampling and revealing the main differences.
