Course Objective

To evaluate the form and decoration of ceramics which are an artistic production under the name of Turkish-Islamic Ceramic

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Informed of the subject about Turkish-Islamic Ceramics
2   Associating with contemporary ceramics and evaluate Turkish-Islamic Ceramics as artistic
3   Describing the evaluating the processing of contemporary ceramic art and the documents included the tile and ceramics of Turkish-Islamic in sources of both some museum and written-visual press
4   Presenting the written and visual knowledge related to contemporary ceramic art and the tile and ceramic of Turkish-Islamic.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

In this course, the students will be given hypothetical information about the parcel work completion in tiling-ceramics works. Moreover, they will learn how to draw the parcel work techniques related to documentation, using drawing materials and equipment.

Assessment Criteria

The exams will be evaluated out of 100 in accordance with the number of the questions. The students will be informed about the value of each question before the exam. The grade will be determined in accordance with the answers. Project evaluation and presentation will evaluated out of 100.

The students coming into the class late will be admitted but accepted half-attended. All attendance will be evaluated by the rate mentioned above. At the end of each lesson, the students are informed about the following lesson s subject as a research subject. So, the lessons start with these researches and discussions.
