Course Objective |
Examining production and design components that are influential in the fabric formation such as raw material, thread, color, technique, knitting, differences of denseness/looseness and finishing operations, particularly weaving technique. Producing innovative fabric applications that have high design value and are appropriate for the performance of their usage in order to learn the contributions of these criteria. Submitting the applications/applied works in the format of article. |

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods |
Obtaining detailed theoretical information by examining fabric design and production components. Discussion on the examples of applied works or designs along with the literature research regarding the subject matter. Discussing the components in a controlled way with the designs and applications/applied works. Presentation of applications with a report. |
