Course Objective

This course aims the student to learn the philosophy of Psychiatric Nursing in parallel with the changes and developments in the world and our country, the relations between the basic human sciences and Psychiatric Nursing, to criticize the current practices, to develop a philosophy about Psychiatric Nursing by examining the suitability of theories and practices with Psychiatric Nursing philosophy.

Assessment Criteria

In the exams, interpretation, recollection, making decision, explaining, classifying and information integrating skills will be assessed.
In the assignments, and presentations describing the situations, analysing and planning them, making decisions, performing attempts, assessing them, collaborating, reaching information, and making a difference will be assessed.
