Course Objective

The aim of this course is to explain the changes and transformations of Ottoman state institutions in classical and post-classical periods.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To learn the origin of Ottoman institutions.
2   To learn the Ottoman political system in detail.
3   To know the functioning of Ottoman administrative institutions and their relations with each other before the modern period.
4   To be able to learn the transformations of Ottoman administrative institutions.
