Course Objective

In today's design environment, it can be observed that visual communication strategies and visual identity designs offer many new communication methods for awareness and efficiency. The aim of the course is to discuss these new methods, to look for new ways and solutions in visual identity design, as well as to research the functionality, depth and future predictions of these new proposals.

2   Gain practical and theoretical knowledge on the effect of creativity in design strategies
3   Experiencing developing innovative visual identity ideas
4   To be able to research potential new mediums and offer different suggestions in the diffusion of visual identity strategy.
5   To be able to construct a communication strategy and measure the efficiency of the strategy
6   To learn about the psychology of design

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

The course starts with discussing the relationship between Visual Identity Design and design strategy in the first stage. In the second stage, it expands by examining the current examples. In the next stages, it continues with the selection of the area for the design application. In the next step, the process is completed with the finalization of the Design phase.
