Course Objective

To determine the facies characteristics, different types, geometry and economical potential of the carbonate platforms and also to present excellent models from the regions of Türkiye.

2   able to distinguish the facies belts of the carbonate platforms
3   able to recognize the carbonate platform types
4   able to understand the geometry and evolution of the carbonate platforms
