Course Objective |
It has been estimated that some 80% of the data used for environmental, business and policy oriented decision making is geographical in nature. These data require a structured approach to their management if the maximum benefit is to be derived from their analysis. This course aims to give you a solid introduction to the issues concerning the management of spatial information, taking the view that contemporary GIS is a specialised branch of mainstream IT. |
