Assessment Criteria

1. Each experiment s in-laboratory work will be evaluated as 40% Pre-Lab Report + 40% Experiment Execution + 20% In lab Performance
2. Each experiment s Post Laboratory Report will be evaluated as 20%Theory + 40% Application and Results 40% Conclusion and Comments
3. The grade of each experiment will be determined by 50% Laboratory work + 50% Post-Laboratory Report
4. This course has a minimal over all grade of 60/100 to be eligible for getting a letter grade. The students whose overall grade at the end of the finals is less than 60 will be automatically graded with FF.
5. The students who fail to finish 8/10 experiments is automatically rewarded with FF irrespective of their overall grade. An experiment is considered as FAILED is the student is absent or overall grade is less than 60.
6. However, these does not mean that the students who have overall grade greater than 60 will pass the lecture. Depending on the over all statistics, one can still get FF or FD and fail. The letter grades are rewarded according to the statistical nature of the grade distribution and the over all engagement of the students to the lecture discussions.
7. Two distinct resit sessions, one in the middle of the semester and one at the end of the semester, will be reserved for that missed the experiments for those with legal excuses.
