Course Objective

This course aims to explain Roman sculpture changes of style and dating by using techniques of style criteria.

2   Recognize roman republic period portrait art.
3   Understand imperial period official portrait art.
4   Understand imperial period private portrait art.
5   Understand connection between roman portrait art and roman history.
