Course Objective

This course aims to emphasize the parallel structures between languages from phrase to sentence and text with a syntactic view and to show how these structures are translated; moreover, to teach the vocabulary and structures frequently used in scientific texts.

8 Translating adjective clauses (whose, where, when)
9 Translating adverbial clauses of time and reason
10 Translating adverbial clauses of intention and manner
11 Translating adverbial clauses of concession
12 Translation of conditional clauses
