Course Objective

In this lecture the students will learn Biological Buffers, Sample Preparation Techniques in Biochemistry, extraction and pre-separation techniques, homogenization / lysis, centrifugation, microfiltration, ultrafiltration, dialysis, precipitation techniques Separation and Purification Techniques of biomolecules, adsorption, gel, ion exchange, affinity, gas and high performance liquid chromatography, electrophoresis applications, issues of Enzymatic Methods of Analysis.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   At the end of this course, students able to have knowledge about the techniques used to prepare the sample for in biochemistry researches and generate idea,
2   In biochemistry studies can discuss the basis of pre-seperation methods to separate the target molecule from a sample, can generate idea,
3   Select of sample preparation methods enzyme activity mesaurment from biological a resource and have knowledge for application, evaluate results depend on the circumstances,
4   have knowledge about advance purification and separation techniques of a biological sample, regarding the applicability of conditions and parameters which need to be considered well-appointed and criticize,
5   determinate of a target molecule dependent on biological resource,by making for separetion and further purification, prepare a work program.
