Course Objective |
The goal of this course is to provide students the tools and practice to construct a persuasive essay that analyzes a literary text. The first half of the course will focus on the mechanics and methods of making an argument. During the second half of the course, our focus will shift to other kinds of writing and class discussion regarding a number of readings, both literary and practical. These readings will be announced later. You will also workshop your persuasive essays with input from your peers and the instructor. |
