Course Objective

The aim of this course is to examine how Turkish-American relations have developed from the Ottoman Empire to the present day. How the bilateral relations built during the Ottoman Empire are reflected in the history of the Turkish Republic, and the parameters of Turkish-American relations during the periods of alliance/crisis will be analyzed within the historical dimension.
