Course Objective

To have knowledge about the importance and development of environmental education. To understand basic ecological concepts. Understand the energy flow in the country, the common lifestyles, the increase in population and the consequences of erosion and the causes of environmental pollution. To be aware of the conservation efforts of nature.

1   To be able to understanding the importance of environmental education.
2   To be able to know ecosystem.
3   To be able to talk about environmental problems.
4   To be able to active participation in solving environmental problems.
5   To be able to know the sources causing environmental pollution and to propose solutions.

Course topics according to learning outcomes will be assessed via midterm, homeworks, and final exams.

Course Policies and Rules

Attendence rule is 70% for the lectures and 80% for the laboratory section.
Attemps to cheat may result in disciplinary actions.
The instructor has right to make quizzes. The scores obtained from quizzes may be added to midterm and final grades. Students will be informed at the beginning of the semester.
