Course Objective

The aim of this block is to get the basic knowledge and skills in the fields of diagnostic procedures, rational drug use, infection control, to learn the basic principles of evidence based medicine

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Define the basic principles of diagnostic medicine, discuss their role in patient management
2   Explain the principles of evidence based medicine, evaluate medical knowledge with scientific criticism
3   Discuss the principles of rational drug use
4   Explain the importance of infection control, discuss the preventive measures
5   Description of medical devices,classification,legal regulations,clinical research and artificial intelligence applications
